    Description

    Antique Whitehead & Hoag Co. Pinback Political Button, dated 1915.
    The Badge Button reads - EDWIN S. UNDERHILL FOR CONGRESS. The back of the Button is dated, I believe it says NOV. 1915. (The date is right under the pin tack itself, and I do not want to damage it by trying to shift it.)  Born in Bath, New York, Rep. Underhill was a Representative for New York from 1913 - 1915. Being an early Whitehead and Hoag Pinback Badge Button, I think this could be celluloid, but I am not certain. Measures approximately 3/4" in diameter. Good condition, with no dents, pin still in working order, quite legible. With minor spots of age and rust.
