    c1880 Victorian newel post bannister
    Quartersawn oak with original varnish - needs a good cleaning - stored in a museums barn for years!
    Measures 63” high x 5” square
    Smaller half post (comes w this listing & would have been against a wall) is 53” high x 5” wide x 2.5” thick
    Both are notched where they met stair treads
    PLEASE NOTE you are buy architectural salvage that is 150+ years old. It is not perfect - it has blemishes and chippy paint. Please review pictures carefully before purchasing.
