Heavy Pair Brass Architectural Bases Garden Bench Light Fixture Table Footing

I don’t know what these are or were, but they must have been expensive. The best guess I have is they were the base of some kind of huge torchiere. In any case they are very heavy brass. They weigh about 53 lbs each although; that is an estimate as I had to put them on two 50 lbs scales. The brass alone probably weighs around 50 lbs each. The base bolts onto the rest (see photo of underside).  They came with a threaded iron hollow rod, a collar and a piece of marble. all held together by the rod.
I spent a long time polishing them and they looked great, then the oxidized  back and one shows something like staining. My guess is they need to be polished and waxed, polished and lacquered, or left to patinate in the weather. I think they would make a great bases for a garden bench, or inside for a coffee table. The top collar on one separated into two, it was soft soldered together. The brass alone is about 14 inches high if you put the collar and marble on it is about 15.5

We have some more ornate pieces which came from the same source listed, I don’t think they were part of the same item.
