Socialite Diary Dedicated to Congressman Jim Wright From His Personal Library

An unusual and rare offering displaying the lifestyles of the rich and famous and how they are unlike normal people like you or I.  A self published diary from Fort Worth socialite and long time civic leader Joyce Peugh Pate Capper whose husband founded the Pate Museum of Transportation. She was an honorary consul to the Grand-Dutchy of Luxembourg and a member of the Junior League of Fort Worth in 1963, she attended President John F. Kennedy's breakfast at the Hotel Texas. This diary covers the period of 1993 to 1998 and is personally dedicated to Betty and Jim Wright "Two special friends" by Joyce Capper dated 8-4-99.  This was a private printing of one hundred copies of which this is copy 39. It details her trips around the world during that period such as Berlin, Prague, Luxembourg, Madrid, Egypt, Brussels, Amsterdam, Bruges, Cancun,  and locations around the US.  This was obtained at Jim Wright's estate sale after his death and taken directly from his library. An unusual and personal insight into several years of a wealth and well connected socialite. Please review the photos as they are a part of the description and show the actual item you will receive.
