    Description

US House Of Representatives bribe bag. If you show this to your Congressman (or woman) you will see them start to salivate on sight of it. In the old days, when people wanted to influence their politicians, they would "lob" large rolls of tied money at them inside the 'lobby" area of the US House of Representatives. That is the origin of the term "Lobbyist." Eventually, it was considered crass to openly lob rolled up wads of cash at them, so they created these bags. It is embossed "US House of Representatives" so as not to confuse any Senators who might be nearby when the bag was/is tossed. It is not a large bribe bag so it probably needs large bills (the green ones). It is about six inches long (and then there is the strap handle) and has a zipper. It continues to work great. Once upon a time, a lobbyist filled one of these bags with gold coins and accidentally killed his congressman when he lobbed it at him. Don't make that mistake. It was crude to call them bribes, so this is technically a "Campaign contributions" bag. The photos show that above the white seal were written the faint letters "DC" which I have been told stands for "Deliver Cash." This continues to be a well-kept secret and that explains why there is no example of this bag anywhere available (although a recent search revealed a single solitary example sold on eBay in the recent past). You can now be one the first to acquire one in this venue and own one and continue to put it to extensive use.
