You are buyingONE (1) US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES VISITOR PASS AND RESTAURANT MENU - BOTH SIGNED BY JOHN V. TUNNEY - REPRESENATIVE AND EVENTUAL US SENATOR FROM CALIFORNIA
.
Here is the story - my Dad went to New York on business and he took my Mom and I with him. From New York we took the train to DC and did the tourist thing. For some reason he knew John Tunney, who previous to his House election taught Buisness Law at the University of California, Riverside. While we were in DC my dad managed to met Tunney for lunch at the Capitol - this is where we got the pass and menu.
My Mom encouraged me to past these into a scrapbook which explains the brown paper stuck to the back - the important parts are uncovered. Nonetheless, I'd rather find these a home rather than toss them in the trash.
